Golden Jubilee of NIBSCOM

NIBSCOM's Golden Jubilee Celebrations reached to its finale on 2nd December, 2022. The event witnessed gracious presence of Shri M K Jain, Hon’able Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India, Shri Vivek Aggarwal, Regional Director, Delhi, Shri Swarup Kumar Saha, ME & CEO, Punjab & Sind Bank, Members of the NIBSCOM Governing Board namely Sh Vijay Dube, Chairman of the Board & ED, Punjab National Bank. Sh Nikhil Mohan, MD &CEO, Nainital Bank Ltd, Sh Kollegal V Raghavendra, ED, Punjab & Sind Bank, Smt Kumud Negi, CLO & GM, Punjab National Bank, Sh Kamesh Sethi, GM, Punjab Sind Bank, Eminent personalities from Banking & Financial Sector fraternity, Senior Academicians from various Academic Institutions, the Guest Speakers associated with the institute and its Former Directors.

We are proud to mention that Esteemed and Reverend Shri S S Kohli, Former CMD of Punjab National Bank & Punjab Sind Bank also graced the occasion.

The event started with unveiling of plaque by Hon’able Chief Guest Shri M K Jain followed by plantation of sapling.

The Chief Guest visited kiosks of banks and passed through picture gallery of History of NIBSCOM before reaching the venue.

The programme started with Sarasvati Vandana to invoke positivity and to seek blessings of Ma Sharda. Post Saravati Vandana lighting of lamp was performed by the Chief Guest and the other dignitaries along with Shri Vijay Dube, Chairman NIBSCOM Governing Board & ED PNB and Shri Punit Jain, Director, NIBSCOM on the dais.

After lighting of lamp, Shri Vijay Dube felicitated the Hon’able Deputy Governor Shri M K Jain with a shawl and sampling. The other people felicitated on the occasion included Shri Vivek Aggarwal, Regional Director, RBI and Shri S S Kohli. After felicitations, an Audio Visual on journey of NIBSCOM was played for the gathering.

Shri Punit Jain welcomed the guests with warmth and gratitude. He expressed his gratefulness for visionary guidance & unconditional support of NIBSCOM Governing Board and other luminaries from banking & academic world from time to time in this long & graceful journey NIBSCOM, before reading his report.

The report was followed by addresses from Shri Swarup Kumar Saha and Shri Vijay Dube. The stage was set for Key Note Address of Shri M K Jain, Hon’able Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India. The Deputy Governor in his speech specially emphasized upon Data Management and Research & Development in Human Resource & Training in banks. The vision and guidance given by the Hon’able Deputy Governor was profoundly acknowledged and well received by the guests on the occasion.
